Dr. Matthew Kahre PT, DPT, ATC/L, COMT, CSCS, SFMA-cert

Dr. Matthew Kahre is a physical therapist that has joined the Peak Potential Physiotherapy & Wellness team. He comes to us with a unique background and education that set him apart from the average PT. His education includes a Doctoral degree in physical therapy and a bachelor’s in Athletic Training. Advanced training has allowed him to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He has taken countless hours of continuing education that has allowed him to sit for the exam to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).

Dr. Kahre’s professional goal is to use his skills to help active populations achieve their peak potential for movement, function and performance. To meet this goal, he has also been trained extensively in the use of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Y-balance test to help identify and fix weak points in the body that predispose clients for future injury. Matthew’s certification in SFMA will also help to identify movement dysfunction in all populations, which will aid him in serving his community at large.
