Dr. Trevor Ling, PT, DPT, ATC/L, MBA, COMT, Astym-cert

Dr. Trevor Ling is the lead physical therapist and owner of Peak Potential Physiotherapy & Wellness. He brings to the community over ten years of orthopedic and sports physical therapy experience. His education includes a Bachelor’s in Athletic training, Master’s in Business Administration, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy giving him the unique background needed to lead this professional team. Advanced clinical training in manual therapy (receiving his COMT), dry needling, and Astym® certification set him apart from other clinicians in the area.

Dr. Ling’s leadership and management skills have also been shown through the startup and running of an outpatient manual physical therapy clinic for the past 6 years. His passion and desire for helping others achieve relief from pain and return to their peak potential, has made him a leader in this region and repeatedly sought after by his clients. He is now heading a team of passionate professionals at Peak Potential with this vision. He is honored by the trust his past clients place in him, by consistently referring to him their family and friends. Trevor looks forward to continued service in his community.


Dr. Matthew Kahre PT, DPT, ATC/L, COMT, CSCS, SFMA-cert

Dr. Matthew Kahre is a physical therapist that has joined the Peak Potential Physiotherapy & Wellness team. He comes to us with a unique background and education that set him apart from the average PT. His education includes a Doctoral degree in physical therapy and a bachelor’s in Athletic Training. Advanced training has allowed him to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He has taken countless hours of continuing education that has allowed him to sit for the exam to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).

Dr. Kahre’s professional goal is to use his skills to help active populations achieve their peak potential for movement, function and performance. To meet this goal, he has also been trained extensively in the use of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Y-balance test to help identify and fix weak points in the body that predispose clients for future injury. Matthew’s certification in SFMA will also help to identify movement dysfunction in all populations, which will aid him in serving his community at large.


Dr. Alyssa Shedlarski

Dr. Alyssa Shedlarski obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2015. She graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2011. During graduate and undergraduate training, Alyssa taught personal training as well as group fitness classes. She has obtained certifications involving USA Boxing Coach, AFAA personal trainer, AFAA group fitness, and has instructed HIIT, kettlebell and yoga classes.  

Alyssa enjoys running, paddleboarding and playing sports in her free time. Through recovering from several injuries of her own, she appreciates the fear of surgery, and desire for return to an active lifestyle with conservative management.
